Your goats are just gorgeous.I am very impressed. Will you have some doe kids (Boer)for sale soon?

Rebekah- thank you! Unfortunately it doesn't look like I will have any Boer doe kids for sale this year, I only had a few and then ended up losing my herd buck so I really want to keep all his daughters. I do have some bucks for sale though.

Hi again Bethany:)
I had a question. What and how much do you feed your nursing Boer does? I have a doe that currently has triplets and is rather skinny. She usually holds her weight up really good, but this time she is just not doing very well. We are supplementing her kids. Your advice would be greatly appreciated:) It makes me rather nervous when a nursing doe is not in very good shape.
Have a blessed weekend:)

It takes a lot for a doe to nurse triplets. I would give grain to her twice a day, if she's not used to getting much work her up gradually to probably about 2 pounds per feeding. Also alfalfa hay for nursing does really helps them hold their weight a lot better.

You have a blessed weekend as well! :)

Thank you so much for the info. I was quite disappointed that you don't have any does for sale. That was the only good excuse I had to come and visit you guys.lol

May the Lord bless you and keep you.
